What “secure” means here, and what it doesn't

  • Nothing retained: the uploaded file is deleted immediately after transcription, and transcript text is never written to our database or logs.
  • No training and no human review: your recordings aren't used to improve models and aren't listened to by staff.
  • Encrypted in transit: uploads and results travel over HTTPS.
  • What it isn't: SafeScriber doesn't advertise formal certifications or sign BAAs. Its protection comes from not keeping your data, so confirm your own compliance obligations before transcribing regulated recordings.
