Find the recording
Local recordings are saved in a folder named after the meeting inside Documents/Zoom on Windows and Mac. For cloud recordings, open Recordings in the Zoom web portal and download the file.

Upload the audio or video
The audio-only M4A is much smaller than the MP4 and gives the same transcript. Sign in with Google or Microsoft. New accounts get 10 free minutes, no card needed.

Paste the summary into your meeting notes, or copy the full transcript for anyone who missed the call.
Teams, Google Meet and consent
- Microsoft Teams saves meeting recordings as MP4 files in OneDrive or SharePoint. Download the file and upload it here.
- Google Meet saves recordings as MP4 files in the organizer's Google Drive, in a Meet Recordings folder.

How is this different from Zoom's built-in transcript?
