AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

Welcome to Great Minds AI LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate the Safe Scriber application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Safe Scriber is a simple, secure transcription service that allows users to upload MP4 or MP3 files or provide a YouTube video URL for transcription. We guarantee that no media or transcripts are stored after delivery. Users sign in using Google or Microsoft accounts, receive 60 free minutes, and then purchase minutes for additional use.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective upon posting or notifying you by email or in-app. Your continued use of the Service after changes indicates your acceptance.

The Service is available globally to users of all ages, but you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

1. OUR SERVICE

The Service allows you to:

• Upload MP4 or MP3 media files for transcription.
• Provide a YouTube URL for transcription.
• Receive 60 free minutes; additional usage requires purchased minutes.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions, and you use the output at your own risk.

2. USER ACCOUNTS

You must sign in using a valid Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

We may remove or change account access if we determine there has been inappropriate use or a breach of these Terms.

3. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

• Credits are sold as one-time purchases via Stripe.
• Credits do not expire.
• Prices may change at any time without notice.
• All purchases are final, subject to our refund policy below.

4. REFUND POLICY

• No refunds are provided for dissatisfaction with transcription quality or results.
• Refunds may be considered in special cases, such as accidental duplicate charges or verified technical errors on our side.
• All refund decisions are at our sole discretion.

5. PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING

• Uploaded files and resulting transcripts are processed only for transcription and are deleted immediately after delivery to you via the web app and email.
• We do not store your media, transcripts, or personal information beyond processing.
• We never share your data with third parties, except for payment processing via Stripe.
• We comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You retain all rights to your uploaded content and transcripts. We claim no ownership over them. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to transcribe any content you submit.

7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

• Upload illegal, obscene, defamatory, or hate-related content.
• Upload copyrighted content without proper authorization.
• Disrupt or impair the Service.
• Circumvent payment requirements or abuse the free transcription offer.

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS

The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from reliance on transcription results or from service interruptions.

9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability to you will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service in the 30 days prior to the event giving rise to a claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, any unused minutes are forfeited.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Texas, unless you choose to pursue a claim in small claims court in Texas.

13. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or modification of the Service.
